In 1974, Danny V. met Billy Joel and was inspired to continue performing on piano. In 1994, Danny V, put together the 52nd Street Band, with NYC metro area's finest and most in-demand musicians. Both alumni and current members of the 52nd Street Band have impressive musical backgrounds in session and recording work. Many have played in Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp's broadway smash, MOVIN' OUT and have even shared the stage with actual member's of Billy Joel's own band, like Richie Cannata and Mark Rivera and Livery Devitto.
